El
Milano Real - Guest House, Hoyos Del Espino, Ávila Province |
|
A
more sublime location cannot be found, as the terrace of this rural hotel
in Avila enjoys magnificent views of the cirque of the Sierra de Gredos.
Teresa and Paco, lovers of cosy spaces, have spared no effort to create
a comfortable and pleasant atmospere in each of the rooms at this charming
rural hotel. On autumn evenings, there’s nothing quite like the pleasure
of reading in the new sitting room or in the study, which contains over
2000 titles in English and Spanish. The hotel has a restaurant specialising
in fresh, home cooking that tantalizes guests throughout their stay. There
is an ample selection of local wines available. In the recently built annex,
each of the eight spacious suites is based on a distinct central theme
(Nordic, Japanese, Arab, Gredos, etc.) ...

Posada
Real Casa de Tepa - Guest House in Astorga |
|
This
hotel comprises a late 18th century building that formerly housed the Santiago
Pilgrims Hospital, preserving the façade of the chapel bearing the
same name, and an adjoining building created by the architect Cardenas
in 1906. It is located in the city centre, just a few metres from the Cathedral,
the Gaudí Palace and the Roman walls and has a large 19th century
style garden. The meticulous care taken during the recent refurbishment
has endeavoured to restore the architectural and historic features of the
building incorporating all types of modern comforts to ensure a thoroughly
pleasurable stay...

Hostería
Camino, Luyego de Somoza, León Province |
|
In
2003, with an integral incorporation of simple materials, necessarily biological
and geological because of its centuries of antiquity (ashlars, tiles, bricks,
wood and forge beams, doors, windows and gates…), we have resurrected the
remnants of an old rustic “Maragata” construction, achieving nine en-suite
rooms (5 double rooms, 2 family rooms and 2 suites), in two distinctive
buildings (separated by a cosy central courtyard), overlooking Teleno’s
mountains (2,190 m.). Luyego’s altitude (1,100 m.) places Camino
Inn closer to the stars and, accordingly, each room bears the name of a
different constellation. The antique furniture is a part of the decoration
and the comfortable beds are easy for sleeping ....

Hospedería
de Santo Domingo - Guest House, Pedraza de la Sierra, Segovia Province |
|
This
fine early 18th century house in the Jewish quarter of Pedraza has been
restored respecting all the smallest details of the former house.
The house has been decorated with great care by Francisco Muñoz,
from the magazine "Casa & Jardín" (Home & Garden), whose
mark has been firmly imprinted on practically all the stylish hotels in
Pedraza. The earthenware floors and thick wooden beams combined with walls
and upholstery in warm tones invite the wayfarer to rest. Its peaceful
garden surrounded by an age-old wall typical of this medieval town, has
wonderful views of the Guadarrama mountain range, the aqueduct and the
delightful storks nest ....
